I like my name. It's short and has a pleasant
silent h, but I do have one complaint: there are
simply too many Johns in this world. I can't seem
to take a class without there being another John
or two in it. Half of my suitemates have been
named John (or some vairient of it). If you are
naming your child, I'd ask you to please be a
little more creative. Save your kid the headache
of being one John among many.

My mother spent five seconds nameing me! I am named after my godfather. My point is this...if my godparents thought so highly of the name John, then why did they name their only child Fred? After six children, my mother apparently did not care what she named me! Alas...I am stuck witha boring name. At the very least, I should have been named some variation of the name John.
