Commonly thought as a feminine name. Cannot count the times I've been either automatically selected by a computer as a woman, or more commonly, when talked to over the phone, Always asked for the "woman" of the house, Erin. Victoria's Secret is still waiting for my first order after a decade of sending me catalogs.

I love my name but it strikes me as strange how often someone mispronounces or totally gets my name wrong. I've been called Lauren, Ann, Karen, the list goes on and on. But I love my name. . . I've thought about changing it to use the Gaelic spelling.
