Hated my name when I was a child, mostly because both siblings had names starting with a J so I felt left out, also my sister had a nasty way of saying Barbie. Recently a future in-law informed me they would spell it Barbra because that's the way they will pronounce it! I've gotten used to the name but can't say I'm a fan.
