Its a boys name for sure in the netherlands but many people think that because of the incorrect way that my name was spelt on my birth certificate my name is supposed to be catharine, Catherine the girls name. (I blame my parents lol) im half dutch and half tongan but Australian born. I'm glad though because after visiting this site I now know the true way to spell it so I can name my son that name :) thanks heaps
